Jaclyn Weldon White  

Jaclyn Weldon White, the author of nine published books and numerous articles in local and regional magazines will be the Keynote Speaker at the 2nd Annual Allatoona Book Fest, October 7 – 9 in Downtown Acworth Georgia.

Ms. White, Hoschton, GA was born, raised and lived all her life in the South. Known for her mystery writings, she has also authored non-fiction and was the Georgia Author of the Year for Biography in 2011.   



The League of American PEN Women Atlanta

Branch will be conducting a workshop at the 2017 Allatoona Book Festival!  PEN women have offered to lead a interactive workshop that is based on the cross-fertilization of the arts, literary, visual and musical to create inspired works.  Artists, writers, poets and composers as well as readers and those who just want to be inspired.   


2017 Allatoona Book Festival 


Now open for submissions for authors, panels and vendors.  The second annual Allatoona Book Fest will be held the first weekend in October at the Roberts School Community Center in Historic Downtown Acworth.  This event is free and open to the public.  Program details will be announced as they are finalized.  Help support the Festival by becoming a volunteer or sponsor.  Writers and writers organizations are invited to submit presentation proposals.
